Eduardo Rodriguez is the Founding Partner and Consultant at Istmo Consulting & Advisory, a consulting firm established in Panama since 2018 that serves a significant number of local and international companies in areas such as internal audit, risk management, compliance, implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), strategy, corporate governance, financial management, among others.

He previously served as the General Manager of the Panamanian subsidiary of a leading multilatina private banking institution in the Southern Cone of the Americas.

Eduardo was an Audit Partner at a Big Four firm, where he worked for more than 20 years across Uruguay, Spain, the United States, and Panama, and he led quality review teams for the Latin America and Caribbean region. He actively contributed to technical publications for IFRS implementation and provided technical consultations within the firm.

He served as a professor in the Master’s in Accounting program at the University of Montevideo.

Eduardo holds a Public Accountant degree from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Administration at the University of the Republic of Uruguay, a Master in Business Administration from ORT University of Uruguay, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. He also holds Principal Executive and Securities Broker licenses issued by the Superintendency of the Securities Market.
