Panama City, June 30, 2025- CIFI has published its 2024 Financial & Sustainability Report, reaffirming its role as a leading private sector platform for sustainable infrastructure investment in Latin America and the Caribbean. The report details CIFI’s financial strength, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration, and measurable development impact across the region.

As of December 31, 2024, CIFI reported total equity of US$117.5 million, a capital adequacy ratio of 15.3%, and a return on equity of 7.6%.Notably, 57% of total investments were climate-focused, reflecting a robust commitment to the Paris Agreement. Furthermore, 88% were directed toward greenfield projects, highlighting the institution´s strong additionality by driving impactful development, while servicing the private middle market in emerging economies.

In 2024, CIFI’s energy portfolio reached 992 MW of installed capacity, supported more than 17,000 jobs, and improved energy access for over 2 million people. The organization also achieved near gender parity, with women representing 44% of staff and 43% of board members.

The report also highlights the performance of CIFI Asset Management’s flagship funds: the Sustainable Infrastructure Debt Fund (SIDF) and the Free Closed-End Investment Fund for the Development of Dominican Infrastructures I. Together, these vehicles have mobilized capital into renewable energy, sustainable logistics, and social infrastructure, delivering both financial returns and transformative impact.
