Panama City, June 27, 2025- As part of its institutional evolution and with the goal of strengthening its strategic positioning in Latin America and the Caribbean, CIFI announces the renewal of its Board of Directors with the appointment of four distinguished professionals with international experience: Andreas Eggenberg, Patricia Bentes, Luciane Ribeiro, and Luis Arizaga. They join current board member Eivind Hildre, who will continue in his role.
This newly appointed Board of Directors, composed entirely of independent members, reflects CIFI’s commitment to best practices in corporate governance, promoting transparency, objectivity, and effectiveness in strategic decision-making.Andreas Eggenberg will serve as Chair of the new Board, bringing extensive international experience and leadership to CIFI’s institutional consolidation process.

It also reinforces CIFI’s presence in key markets such as Brazil and Mexico, where the institution has expanded its reach through strategic partnerships and acquisitions, including the 2022 acquisition of Finenge e Associados Ltda., a Brazilian financial advisory firm.
