I have only made one purchase from this
company, however as the experience was so good I feel I should
write a review on that experience alone.
I found this company whilst I was looking to
purchase an LCD monitor. I was very interested in purchasing the
Hitachi 16ms model and after visiting the Hitachi website I was
shown a list of UK vendors, Nexnix were one of the listed few.
I found that their prices were extremely
competitive on all monitors both CRT & LCD although it was not a
company I had heard of before. I decided to test the waters
before making an order with them so I sent their general sales
e-mail address a query on stock levels for the Hitachi LCD panel.
I had a reply within 24hrs and it gave me all
the information I needed, unfortunately they didn't have stock
of the LCD panel I wanted (nowhere else in the UK did either so
this didn't surprise me) however they were getting limited stock
in a weeks time however this was extremely limited and if I
really wanted the display I should really place a backorder with them.
This fast response along with the excellent
prices was enough to convince me and I was about to place the
recommended backorder when me being the kind of person I am I
changed my mind, I was now interested in the NEC 16ms LCD panel.
I had not considered this display before, however Nexnix had
this display for some £30 less than anywhere else in the UK -
this was an offer I just had to take advantage of, so once again
I dropped their general e-mail address a line and asked them
about stock on this display instead.
I am going to mention names now, I'm sure she
wont mind, Lucy Shazell replied to my e-mail, again within 24hrs
and gave me all the information I wanted plus more. She
explained that she had phoned her supplier and they had a small
quantity of stock on hand. She also informed me that the NEC
panel did not come with a DVI cable however she could also
supply me with one of these and she also gave me the price.
I decided to have a think about it over the
weekend and by Monday morning I had convinced myself that this
was the display for me, I really wanted one. I e-mailed Lucy
again and told her that yes I was interested and could she take
an order via e-mail I should I just use the online store. Within
an hour she had replied to me saying that for safety I should
either use the secure online store or I should give her a call
(she supplied her direct line number) and we could discus
everything over the phone. I decided to take the phone option
and within a couple of minutes I was chatting to her.
Before I had called she had once again spoken
to her supplier and confirmed that they still had some stock of
the black version of the panel. We discussed things over the
phone and I gave her my credit card details, she told me that
she would arrange for her supplier to send the panel directly to
me, this would save me a day of waiting to get my new monitor.
The DVI cable would come directly from her. I was promised a
call back a little bit later to make sure the order had gone
through without any problems, a promise that was kept and I
received a confirmation call back within the hour.
The next day I received my new LCD monitor via
courier (delivery had cost me a very average £10) in working
order and exactly what it was that I wanted. Unfortunately the
DVI cable did not turn up on the same day, however that arrived
via post the next morning and I was still able to use the LCD on
an analogue connection whilst I waited for the digital one.
This is the one and only order I've made from
this company but this experience was amazing, the speed in which
my enquiries were answered and the delivery time was most
amazing. For that order alone I have to recommend this company,
they are now going to be my first port of call for all future
monitor purchases be they for home use or for the company I work
for. Take a look at their site, be very impressed with their
