Anarchy Online - Ring of Tir Quest - Clan Only
You need to go and see High Commander Brock to
collect the Ring of Tir quest.
He can be located in the outpost SE of Tir in
Tir Country (Inquisitive Wasp) approx. co-ordinates 2860x740.
There are 5 rings to be collected and it is
worth noting that by the end of the quest you will actually own
all 5, unlike Dodga's Quest you do not upgrade your reward each
time.
The 5 rings are collected in the following order:
The
Watcher of Tir Ring
Target High Commander Brock and say (without
the quotation marks)
"Nice Ring"
He will ask if you have any rings already and
you should reply
"I have no ring"
You get an empty Dog-Tag Bag and a mission
icon. Your objective is to hunt Fresh OT and Amateur OT mobs for
Grunt Dog-Tags. If you find such a Dog-Tag, put it into the
Dog-Tag bag by shift-right clicking with it on the bag.
Fresh and Amateur OT mobs can be found
wherever "newbie's" can be found, anywhere SE of Tir also
contains plenty of them.
Alternatively you can roll missions around QL1
- QL10.
Once you have collected 10 dog-tags and placed
them in the bag it is then full, take it back to Brock and trade
it with him, he will then give you the Watcher of Tir Ring.

The
Sergeant of Tir Ring
Pick up the Watcher of Tir Ring from your
inventory and right-click it on High Commander Brock, he will
ask you if you want information on the second ring. Target him
and say
"second ring"
He will ask you if you are ready to hunt down
Rookie OT mobs, you say
"I will hunt rookies"
You will get another dog-tag bag and a new
mission icon. Fill this bag with 10 Rookie dog-tags.
The highest concentration of Rookie OT mobs
can be found in a big area between the main road and OMNI base
in Varmint Woods (the centre of that huge area is at around
3800,1600) alternatively roll missions from ql30-60.
You will also find a lot of Rookies in Greater
Tir Country, especially around some of the Omni bases.
Take the full bag back to Brock and trade it
with him, he will give you the Sergeant of Tir Ring

The
Captain of Tir Ring
Pick up the Sergeant of Tir Ring from your
inventory and right-click it on High Commander Brock, he will
ask you if you want information on the third ring. Target him
and say
"third ring"
He will ask you if you are ready to hunt down
Seasoned OT mobs, you say
"I will hunt seasoned"
You will get another dog-tag bag and a new
mission icon. Fill this bag with 10 Regular dog-tags.
The best way to get these dog-tags is through
missions as Seasoned OT mobs are more difficult to find "in the
wild". Seasoned OT mobs will appear in any mission from QL80 -
QL170 with the best range to get them being QL110 - QL140.
If you are not familiar with how the sliders
work on the mission terminals, it is possible by using certain
mission settings to increase the chance of getting just "humans"
in a mission and not monsters.
Set the sliders in the following order:
- Left
- Left
- Middle
- Middle
- Middle
- Right
Once the bag is full, take it back to Brock
and trade it with him once more, he will give you the Captain of
Tir Ring

The
Commander of Tir Ring
Pick up the Captain of Tir ring from your
inventory and right-click it on High Commander Brock, he will
ask you if you want information on the firth ring. Target him
and say
"fourth ring"
He will ask you if you are ready to hunt down
Veteran OT mobs, you say
"I will hunt veterans"
You will get another dog-tag bag and a new
mission icon. Fill this bag with 10 Elite dog-tags.
You can find Veteran OT mobs in missions
ranging from around QL140 - QL200, the best chance to get mostly
Veterans is around QL180 - QL190. Use the same mission settings
as described above to maximise the chance of getting human mobs
in the missions.
Once the bag is full, take it back to Brock
and trade it with him again, he will then give you the Commander
of Tir Ring

The High Commander of Tir Ring
Pick up the Commander of Tir ring from your
inventory and right-click it on High Commander Brock, he will
ask you if you want information on the fifth ring. Target him
and say
"fifth ring"
He will ask you if you are ready to hunt down
Ace OT mobs, you say
"I will hunt aces"
You will get yet another dog-tag bag and a new
mission icon. Fill this bag with 10 Commander dog-tags.
You can find Ace OT mobs in missions ranging
from around QL190 - QL250, the best chance to get many Aces that
are not too hard to kill is around QL196 - QL200. Use the same
mission settings as described above to have the best chance of
human mobs.
Once the bag is full, take it back to Brock
and trade it with him once more, he will give you the High
Commander of Tir Ring
