Junior Achievement – Educating Children and Young Adults
For three months, 12 members of the CIFI team joined the Junior Achievement program as facilitators. The objective of the initiative was to teach children and young adults about topics related to financial education, working environments, entrepreneurship, among others, at the Juan B. Sosa School located in Panama Viejo.
The sessions of the program offered students the opportunity to improve their abilities and teach them about entrepreneurship possibilities.
Reforestation Program – Alliance for the Million Hectares
The CIFI team participated in the 4th Alliance for the Million Hectares tree-planting activity organized by the Ministry of Environment, with the collaboration of the Ministry of the Presidency, the private sector and environmental organizations. The activity took place on the International Day of Reforestation. The initiative’s goal is to reach one million reforested hectares in 20 years.
More than 1000 trees were planted. This activity supports the fight against climate change and deforestation in Panama and is aligned with CIFI’s vision to contribute to the social and environmental sustainability of our country.
